「地域の色・自分の色」研究会は、2014年4月に立ち上げ、「色」という視点から、地域の素晴らしさとそこで生まれ育った自分の良さを再発見することを目的に、学習院大学教授（東京大学名誉教授）秋田喜代美先生の指導を受けながら活動を続けています。

この研究会のホームページ「地域の色・自分の色」博物館は、公益財団法人前川財団の助成を受けて2021年3月1日に立ち上げ、一般財団法人日本児童教育振興財団の助成を受けて一部改修しました。

本館には、当研究会が作成した教材の原稿や研究成果などを掲示し、分館には、学校や幼稚園での実践の成果や、子どもたちが身の回りの自然観察や、歴史・美術・科学体験などを通して見つけた「地域の色・自分の色」を絵や写真などで展示しています。

The “Regional Color/My Color” study group was launched in April 1 2014, with the aim of rediscovering the splendor of the region and the merits of being born and raised there from the perspective of “color”. 

We continue our activities under the guidance of Kiyomi Akita, a professor at Gakushuin University (professor emeritus at the University of Tokyo).

The website of this study group, ” Regional Color/My Color” Museum, was launched on March 1, 2021 with a grant from The Mayekawa Foundation, and partially renovated with a grant from The Foundation for the Advancement of Juvenile Education in Japan.

In the main building, we display manuscripts and research results of teaching materials created by our study group, and in the annex, we display the results of practical work at schools and kindergartens, and the ” Regional Color/My Color” that children find through observation of nature around them, history, art, science experiences, etc. in pictures and photographs.
